The AVECOR Model TP Thermistor Probe is intended to be used with the AVECOR Model TMA Temperature Monitoring Adapter and the YSI Tele-Thermometer.  The thermistor is housed in a stainless steel probe.  The probe is connected to a ten foot long shielded cable that terminates with a 1/4" phone plug.  The probe must not be autoclaved, however, it can be EtO gas sterilized if desired.  The probe can be cleaned with a mild detergent or a solution of 3% hydrogen peroxide or 70% isopropanol.
