Edward Marshall Boehm (1913-1969), an American artist and sculptor, is well known for his desirable line of dog figurines

This is the Mack Truck English Bulldog in the brown brindle colorway, Boehm model 40187. The porcelain Bulldog headstudy is mounted on a finished wood plinth from which it can be removed. These wood bases are often missing. The figurine is fully hallmarked on the interior (see photo). The figurine measures 7 3/4" tall by 7 1/2" wide, including the base. It is beautifully modeled and decorated. It is a must have for Mack Truck collectors as well as Bulldog fanciers.
