The SdKfz 251 was the standard German halftrack of World War II. The original requirement was for a vehicle that could transport a squad of infantry and protect it small arms fire. However the vehicle would fufill a variety of roles with the vehicle serving as a platform for a variety of weapons. The 251 C version was produced until 1943 and saw service until the end of the war.
This box contains 5 unassembled SdKzf 251/C Halftracks
The vehicles may be built as 251/1 Infantry Carriers,
251/10 Platoon Commander's Vehicle with 3.7cm AT Gun,
251/2 81mm Mortar Carrier, or
251/9 Stummel with 7.5cm Light Howitzer
Models come unpainted. Some assembly may be required. Glue, paints, and supplies sold
separately.
