This service restores the instrument cluster backlighting on your S-CLASS CL instrument cluster.
Backlighting issues are common failures on the W220/W215 Mercedes models and result in total or partial loss of lighting. We can correct those problems, Failures often result in total loss of power to the instrument panel due to shorting out of the instrument cluster.
This service requires your instrument cluster to be removed from the vehicle and shipped for repair. Please be advised that this repair will not change or tamper with the engine immobilizer (immobilizer is not a part of the instrument panel) or current odometer reading on your instrument cluster.
This cluster failure is also known to blow your fuses, most w220, w215 have 3 cluster fuses on the passenger door compartment fuse box, in many cases they have to be replaced too.

Allow several inches of padded space, especially at each end, between the cluster and inner walls of the box
Clusters not packaged carefully can, and will, break while in transit
Pack as you would fine china or glass
Do not use shredded paper or packing peanuts as it may end up inside the cluster
Include your PayPal invoice, or hand written sheet of paper with your return shipping address, email and phone number
.  Skip this step if there is a price for shipping; otherwise send a return shipping label     with your unit
