    Mongolian Archer’s Badge, Communist Period (1950s-60s)
    Guaranteed 100% ORIGINAL old piece, not a recent issue or a replica!
    This medal was most likely awarded to a Mongolian archer for winning some sort of competition or achieving a designated proficiency level in the sport. It has Cyrillic inscription “БНМАҮ”, an acronym for the Mongolian People’s Republic. It is in brass with high quality “hot-baked” enamel, NICELY MADE! The badge measures 24.9 mm long by 18.7 mm wide.
    This badge is in GREAT CONDITION! The enamel shows only microscopic scratches, but no major damage of any kind. The pin attachment is intact and sound. This badge is shown in the catalog of “Mongolian Orders, Medals & Badges” by Dr. A. Battushig (page 151, fig. W 15).
