Order Osmaniye (Turkish Nishani Osmani) - Ottoman order. Was established in January 1862 by Sultan Abdul Aziz. It was awarded to civil servants and military leaders for the outstanding service of the Empire.
Badge of the Order - a seven-pointed star dark green enamel , with three short arms between each end of the star. Central medallion covered with red enamel and surrounded by a ring of green enamel.
In the central part of the red - relief crescent and a calligraphic inscription " Hope for Help of Almighty Allah . Abdul Aziz Khan, Sovereign of the Ottoman Empire. " Reverse medallions depicting the composition of the various arms and the date " 699 " - the founding year of the Ottoman Empire. On the upper end of the sign is the crescent horns up with the star.
