PETE SEEGER HAND-SIGNED 1979 "CLEARWATER" SLOOP 10th ANNIVERSARY CONCERT POSTER

Description

Here's an original 1979 paper poster advertising a concert to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the launching of the Hudson River sloop "Clearwater".   The Clearwater was originally launched in 1969.
One of the greatest supporters of the "Clearwater" was famous folk singer Pete Seeger, who was part of the concert advertised on this poster.
In the lower right area of this poster, Pete Seeger hand-signed his name in ink.   He also drew a picture of his banjo next to his signature.   Our "Certificate of Authenticity" will be included.
The poster has an illustration of the "Clearwater" on the top.
This off-white-colored poster measures approximately 28 inches x 6 and 1/4 inches.
This concert was held on May 17, 1979 at the Bardavon Opera House on Market Street in the city of Poughkeepsie, New York.
The concert featured Pete Seeger, Arlo Guthrie, and many other performers.
