French Poodle from the Championship series by Royal Doulton of England. This vintage figurine HN2631 was designed by Frederick Daws and issued between 1952-1985. This statuesque figurine of a white poodle in a show cut measures 5 1/4” tall by 6 1/4” long and 2 1/2” wide. He shows off very detailed hand painting from the pink skin undertones where he is clipped to his full white coat. He has an expressive grey face with lovely brown eyes and detailed black nose, whiskers and toes. Stamped with the green Royal Doulton Mark and hand written 2631 as well as the artist intials. Mint condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. See photos for details. A lovely gift for a poodle owner or a perfect addtion to a Royal Doulton canine collection.
