    Description

    Circa 1950's this advertising keychain was a promo given to customers of
    PAOLA OLDSMOBILE, INC., La Crescenta, CALIF. The LETTER / WORD prefix telephone numbers of Churchill and Chapman confirm the date of production.
    In the 1930's the W.O. Williamson family who owned a lot of property on Foothill, had an Oldsmobile dealership in Montrose which was moved to a gas station at Foothill and La Crescenta in 1941.  In 1951 PETE and LINK PAOLA bought the dealership and left that building in the mid 1960's.  The black plastic disc with gold lettering measures 1 3/8", attached to the gold snake chain.  Certainly a rare find for historians of the Crescenta Valley!
