VINTAGE FRAMED PAINTING, OF SCHOOL OF WHALES, ON BOARD, SIGNED!

You are looking at a vintage framed painting by Virginia Ragati. Dated 61. Numbered 83. It looks like a school of whales. If you look closely you will see the shapes, fins and even an eye on the large one to the left. I'm not sure of the medium used. Looks like water colors on top of cloth. The surface is raised in sections so that the whales stand out. The surface is a board. Very unusual and unique. The frame is of wood like driftwood with worm holes. The total framed picture measures 13 1/2" x 21 1/4". The inside picture measures 10"x 17 3/4". On the back there is a sticker that reads Bongi-Born 1916 Florence, Italy.
